The Original Hotdog Factory® began its journey with a single location in 2010 in Smyrna, Greater Atlanta. Under the previous ownership of Dennis McKinley, the franchise gained recognition for its unique take on hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, wings, and a full bar experience. McKinley's vision was inspired by the diverse regional styles of hot dogs he encountered during his travels, leading to the creation of a menu that celebrates these variations in one place.

The Ramos Duo

Ismael "Izzy" and Charity Ramos, a husband and wife team, are no strangers to the restaurant industry. They have successfully operated a location within The Original Hotdog Factory® franchise in the Halcyon complex in Alpharetta. With a combined experience of over 30 years in the industry, the Ramoses bring a wealth of knowledge and dedication to the brand.

A Stellar Ownership Group

The ownership group also includes Benjamin Engel, an Atlanta business owner of the national marketing agency Trending Up Strategy and Mergers and Acquisitions advisor at Buy Sell Edge, as well as Jonavon Stephens, President of Aquarius Vision, a sports and entertainment business management firm, who will be leading the charge as our Chief Expansion Officer.

Under the new ownership, The Original Hotdog Factory® has ambitious plans to expand its footprint. The goal is to grow the franchise to over 100 locations throughout Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Texas, and beyond.
