The Original Hot Dog Factory is thrilled to introduce you to our dynamic duo, Izzy and Charity Ramos, the passionate new owners of the franchise! Before acquiring The Original Hot Dog Factory, they embarked on an incredible journey in the restaurant industry as a franchisee, and today, they are making their dreams come true as the stewards of our beloved brand.
Bronx-born Izzy Ramos kick-started his career as a restaurant manager at Boston Market in sunny Orlando, Florida. His dedication and customer-centric approach quickly built a loyal clientele, and he played a pivotal role in making the restaurant a thriving hub. Impressed by his talent, the general manager offered him a prime district location, marking the beginning of a successful career.
His ambition didn't stop there. Izzy seized the opportunity to manage his own standalone Einstein Bagels, craving the autonomy that came with it, and nurturing his dream of one day owning a restaurant of his own.
Charity Ramos, on the other hand, began her journey in the restaurant world as a Wendy's cashier while pursuing her undergraduate and graduate degrees. Her innate ability to adapt and her commitment to learning quickly earned her the role of part-time assistant manager in less than a year.
While they both cherished their careers in the restaurant industry, fate had other plans for them. Einstein Bagels filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, prompting Izzy to move to Atlanta, where he applied his Audio Engineer degree in the Telecommunications field. Simultaneously, Charity graduated with a Master's in Industrial Psychology and began her corporate career with Equifax in Atlanta.
The Ramoses' journey with us began when they visited our Smyrna, GA location. They fell head over heels in love with our delicious hot dogs and the warm, inviting atmosphere of our restaurant. This love at first bite sealed their destiny as franchisees, and they eagerly embarked on their journey to bring their vision to life.
Their first location at Marietta Square Food Hall opened its doors in July 2020, marking the realization of their dream. Izzy and Charity currently reside in Alpharetta, where they cherish the joys of parenthood, raising their twin 11-year-old boys.
In addition to their thriving careers in the restaurant industry, Izzy and Charity are also devoted to their family. They attended their daughter's wedding in Puerto Rico this past July, celebrating a cherished moment in their lives.
