The Original Hotdog Factory Adding Five New Atlanta-Area Locations, 15 Total Nationwide

Atlanta-based The Original Hot Dog Factoryone of the first restaurants to reopen amid the COVID-19 outbreak, over the next 90 days is adding 15 franchise locations to its portfolio, the company Monday announced in a press release.

This includes five new locations in Atlanta: Cumberland MallMarietta Square MarketPerimeter MallSouthlake Mall, and Sugar Loaf Mills.

The other ten will open across the eastern United States: four in Philadelphia, and one each in Birmingham, Houston, Brooklyn, Charlotte, Raleigh, and Detroit.

Existing outposts of the fast-growth eatery are in Atlanta and Philadelphia.

“With economy cranking back up, we are seeking experienced single or multi-unit franchisees to acquire and develop locations in shopping areas, colleges, and more,” Dennis McKinley, the restaurant’s founder, said in a prepared statement.

“We bring strong financials and a culture that promotes community and great eating.”

The Original Hot Dog Factory’s menu centers on specialty hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, french fries, onion rings, and milkshakes.

Exact opening timelines for the Atlanta-area locations were not immediately provided when requested by What Now Atlanta Monday.

McKinley is working on another restaurant called Good Morninga breakfast eatery opening soon on Edgewood Avenue.
